Associate Professor Dmytro Gospodaryov presented at the Future Fashion Forum

Associate Professor Dmytro Gospodaryov made the closing presentation at the Future Fashion Forum, talking about the ability of microorganisms to form biopolymers – cellulose, melanin and other materials. Materials produced by microorganisms, in particular, bacterial cellulose, can be used to create art objects or unique household items. In his presentation, Dmytro also presented photos of bacterial cellulose films obtained at the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology.

The first Future Fashion Forum in Ukraine was held on May 9-10 in Lviv. It was organized by the Ukrainian Fashion Education Group team on the initiative and under the leadership of Marina Loseva – a fashion expert and founder of the Ukrainian Fashion Education Group.

Other speakers at the forum included famous Ukrainian designers, founders of fashion brands and fashion publications, biodesigners, fashion experts, stylists, scientists, including experts in garment design. The forum was also attended by the First Lady of Lviv, Kateryna Kit-Sadova.
