Professors of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology at KNUVS Volodymyr Lushchak and Oleg Lushchak have once again been included in the prestigious TOP-2% ranking of the world’s most influential scientists, which is compiled annually by researchers at Stanford University (USA) in collaboration with Elsevier Publishing.
The ranking is based on a comprehensive indicator of influence (c-score), which takes into account the number of citations, the Hirsch index, authorship of the first and last articles, and other indicators. It includes scientists who are among the top 100,000 or represent the top 2% in their field (according to the Science-Metrix classification).
Professor Volodymyr Lushchak ranked 4,242nd among 100,000 scientists worldwide in all fields, entering the top 0.3% of the world’s scientists and the top 0.2% in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology (career-long impact). This outstanding achievement confirms the global impact of his research. Moreover, he is the highest-ranked Ukrainian scientist in the ranking.
Professor Oleg Lushchak has once again been included in the list of the world’s most cited scientists, which confirms his international recognition and significant contribution to the development of science.
