ASSOСIATE PROFESSOR DMYTRO GOSPODARYOV PARTISIPATED IN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AND FEBS COURSE

Associate Professor Dmytro Gospodaryov has taken part  in 26th European Drosophila Research Conference (Lausanne, Switzerland, September 5-8 2019) and FEBS Advanced course  «Aging & Regeneration» (Innsbruck, Austria, September 9-12 2019). The Conference in Lausanne was organized by well-known Swiss scientists who use fruit fly model for studying different aspects of physiology of living organisms. The chief organizer was Bruno Lemaitre, Swiss immunologist who discovered Toll-like receptors in Drosophila and signaling pathway related to them. Dmytro was a sole representative from Ukraine with the poster presentation «Deficiency in Nrf2 and Keap1 delays development and modulates metabolic processes in Drosophila»

In Innsbruck, Dmytro held oral presentation «Alternative NADH dehydrogenase extends lifespan and increases resistance to xenobiotics in Drosophila» and the poster with the same results. Other participants of the course were from Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, France, Russia and United States of America. Again, Dmytro was the only one participant from Ukraine.
