Today, September 22, Ulyana Semanyuk, a leading specialist of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology and our graduate of the postgraduate course, successfully defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of biological sciences in “Biochemistry”. Defense was in the specialized academic council D 58.601.04. at Ivan Gorbachevskiy Ternopil National Medical University .
The title of PhD thesis Dissertation topic: “Regulation of physiological and biochemical traits of Drosophila melanogaster by diet and insulin-like peptides.” Results of the study are published in 6 articles in international peer-reviewed journals (all are indexed in the SCOPUS database)! The supervisor of the work is an associate professor, Ph.D. Oleh Lushchak.
