On May 14, the Scientific picnic “Science for Peace” was held on the occasion of the University Day at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. The event took place in front of the main building of the university. Our small team from the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology of the Faculty of Natural Sciences demonstrated elements of how science can be useful for solving modern challenges in the field of biomedicine and biosafety. One of the elements of the program was the examination of everyone for lipid and carbohydrate metabolism disorders. Our rector, Igor Tsependa, kindly agreed to take part in the examination.
