The research team of the Department headed by Olha Strilbytska has received a Ministry of Education and Science grant for young scientists for their study

Based on the results of the scientific and scientific-technical expert evaluation of research and development projects, and in accordance with the protocol decision No.2 of the Competition Commission meeting of the Ministry of Education and Science on December 20, 2024, by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated December 27, 2024, No. 1801, a list of 82 research and/or development projects by young scientists that passed the competitive selection was approved. Funding for these projects will begin in January 2025 from the state budget of Ukraine.

Among the winners is Olha Strilbytska’s project “Preclinical Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Pharmaceutical Drugs for Alleviation the Effects of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.” This grant provides the opportunity for scientists to conduct in-depth research into the effectiveness of pharmaceutical agents in combating the effects of post-traumatic stress. The preclinical evaluation of drug efficacy will help develop scientifically grounded recommendations for further clinical research and the development of new treatments for post-traumatic stress disorder.
