A student of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology took part in the international youth project Erasmus+ in Poland.

Yuliia Tronchuk, a second-year student in the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, took part in the international youth exchange titled “Modern Technology = a Better Life”, organized by Kuźnia Młodych Talentów (Poland) with support from the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme (Project No. 2024‑1‑PL01‑KA152‑YOU‑000240618).

The project brought together young people from Ukraine, Poland, and Romania, focusing on the development of digital skills and discussions around the impact of modern technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) on everyday life, education, and the future job market.

Participants:

  • engaged in themed workshops on the history, ethics, and risks of AI usage;

  • explored modern AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Leonardo AI, RunwayML) and applied them to create video, music, and visual content;

  • prepared a public presentation for Polish school students on the practical applications of AI in daily life;

  • learned about the cultural heritage of the region of Silesia and the development of technological infrastructure in the city of Katowice.

This experience offered Yuliia the opportunity to deepen her knowledge, enhance her digital competencies, and take part in an international intercultural exchange aligned with contemporary European initiatives.

We are proud of our students who are representing the university on the international stage!
