The 5th Science Picnic in Ivano-Frankivsk took place on Market Square on May 10, 2024. Traditionally, Precarpathian National University, in particular the Faculty of Natural Sciences, was represented by the staff of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Department of Chemistry, and Department of Biology and Ecology. Oleksandra Abrat, Associate Professor of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, together with M.Sc. students Sviatoslav Kharuk and Andrii Shturmak, measured blood pressure, pulse, oxygen level, height, weight, percentage of body fat, muscles, blood glucose, cholesterol for picnic visitors free of charge. Our location had numerous visitors. Despite a bit of exhausting scorching sun, the desire to educate and promote a healthy lifestyle gave energy not only to endure but also to be useful.
