First-year master’s students Andrii Shturmak and Sviatoslav Kharuk attended the XVIII All-Ukrainian Conference of Young Scientists of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, which was dedicated to the heroic work of Ukrainian scientists during the war. The conference was held on May 21–22 in Kyiv. The guys presented their work on the topic “Study of intranasal delivery of peptides to the brain of mice” in the section “Molecular Biology and Bioorganic Chemistry”. The report aroused interest, as this topic is now quite relevant and is actively developing in biomedicine. The students received positive feedback and high marks from the jury (6th place out of 33 reports!), which demonstrates the high level of research and professionalism of our young scientists.
There was also an open day at the institute and the undergraduates had the opportunity to get partially acquainted with the scientific activities of the IMBG.
We are proud of their achievement and wish them many more scientific achievements in the future!
