In March-April 2023, the online course «Molecular and cellular neurophysiology» was organized by a team of teachers and scientists from Ukraine and Germany with the financial support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The lecturer of the course was Oleksiy Boldyrev, a researcher at the Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Assoc. Prof. of the Department of Biomedicine and Neuroscience at Kyiv Academic University (KAU), Kyiv. The project was initiated by Prof. Olga Garaschuk, Director of the Institute of Physiology at the University of Tübingen (Germany), with the participation of scientists from the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
About sixty students from different Ukrainian universities registered for the course, including teachers and students of PNU. Among the participants were both free listeners and those who passed the exam and received a certificate of advanced training. In particular, postgraduate student Marian Ivanochko, researcher Vladyslav Berezovskyi and Prof. Maria Bayliak of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology received certificates of successful completion.
