On February 9th, the National University of Pharmacy hosted an online scientific and practical seminar dedicated to the International Day of Women and Girls in Science “UKRAINIANS WHO INSPIRE: WOMEN SCIENTISTS OF OUR TIME”. At the invitation of Inna Vladymyrova, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of the National University of Pharmacy, the Head of our Department, Professor Maria Bayliak, took part in the seminar. She gave a talk “Aging and anti-aging drugs” with a focus on the latest research of the department on mice.
The seminar was also attended by well-known Ukrainian scientists – Natalia Vynograd, Head of the Epidemiology Department at Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, with the topic “Biosafety is a woman’s business” and Nadiya Boyko, Head of the Department of Medical and Biological Disciplines at Uzhhorod National University, with the report “Microbiome is our super organ (in terms of implementation of 4Ps of medicine)”.
