From September – October 2018 young researchers from the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology were on a foreign scientific investigation.

During September, 12 – October, 12 2018 Vladyslav Kohut, a 4^th year student, and young researchers of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Dr. Nadia Mosiichuk and Mrs. Halyna Shmihel took part in the experiments at the Kielanowski Institute of Animal Physiology and Nutrition, Jablonna, Poland. The study was managed by Professors Stefan Pierzynowski (Lund university, Sweden) and Jarek Wolinski (Kielanowski Institute, Poland). The main goal of the project was to study pharmacokinetics of drugs for treatment of gout and hyperuricemia. The study was done on young pigs as the model animal.
