On November 24-25, the School of Young Biochemist “Explorers of the Mysteries of the Living” was organized at the Faculty of Natural Sciences. The event was attended by 72 school students from Ivano-Frankivsk, Kalush, Nadvirna, Burshtyn, Horodenka, Vyhoda.
The Autumn School of Young Biochemist is a highly interactive, educational, and enlightening event for students, organized by the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology since 2013. This year, the School celebrates its 10th anniversary.
The School of Young Biochemist “Explorers of the Mysteries of the Living” is held to discover and engage students interested in biology, those who enjoy experimenting and learning new things, and those who dream of becoming scientists or integrating their lives with biology or biomedicine. The School aims to foster high school students’ interest in modern experimental biology, demonstrate the importance and relevance of the biologist profession among other careers, and enhance experimental skills in high school students.
