We greet Sviatoslav Tsiumpala from Horodenka school #1 with winning 3rd degree award for presentation of his research work in section “General Biology” on the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine contest held in Kyiv. Sviatoslav’s work, named “Peculiarities of anthocyainin synthesis in radish Raphanus raphanistrum subsp. sativus”, was performed at the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology under supervision of Associate Professor Dmytro Gospodaryov.
The research work of Olha Bundziak from Anton Krushelnytsky gymnasium of Horodenka “Factors which influence resistance of fruit flies to ethanol” (supervisor – Dmytro Gospodaryov), performed at our department, was highly evaluated in section “Medicine”, however did not over-compete other works.
