During last two months Master Students Anastasiia Hrushchenko and Lesia Sishchuk were in visiting research student status at the University Hannover Medical School (Germany)

During last two months (October-November, 2018) Master Students of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology Anastasiia Hrushchenko and Lesia Sishchuk, who are granted by Leonard Euler Scholarship 2018/2019 with support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) (https://kbb.pnu.edu.ua/en/2018/08/16/our-master-students-lesia-sishchuk-and-anastasiia-hrushchenko-have-won-leonard-euler-scholarship-2018-2019/), were in visiting research student status at the University Hannover Medical School (Germany). Students have been carried out successful experiments and completed the final parts of their master’s works under supervision of Dr. Tetyana Yevsa (https://www.mh-hannover.de/ag-yevsa.html) at the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endocrinology of Hannover Medical School. Master Students generated and analyzed lot of flow cytometry data on biochemical- and immunological parameters. The experiments were logical continuation of the work started by former Master Students Nataliia Petriv and Mariya Holovchak year ago in Hannover Medical School (https://kurs.if.ua/news/frankivski_studentky_vygraly_stypendiyu_leonhardeulerprogramm_foto_58144.html), being granted by Leonard Euler Scholarship in 2017. At present, M.Sc. Nataliia Petriv is Ph.D. Student in Hannover Medical School and continues her research under supervision of Dr. Tetyana Yevsa (https://kbb.pnu.edu.ua/en/2018/08/01/an-alumni-of-the-department-of-biochemistry-and-biotechnology-became-a-phd-student-at-the-hannover-medical-school-in-germany/). The experiments of Master Students were devoted to immunological and biochemical peculiarities of laboratory mice with precancerous and cancer liver disease. The research has been performed and will be continue with great hope to really help sick people. Anastasiia and Lesia have recently returned to the laboratory at the native Dept. and are now intensively preparing for the official defense of master’s works, which will be attended by Dr. Tetyana Yevsa. The event will take place 20th of December 2018 at 12 am., room #617 in the building of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Precarpathian National University (Halytska, 201).
