Our young scientist Uliana Semaniuk is starting traineeship at the University of Helsinki (Finland)

Our young scientist Uliana Semaniuk who recently defended her PhD thesis is starting now the traineeship at the University of Helsinki (Finland). This became possible due to the initiative «Scientists for Scientists» as a support for Ukrainian scientists from international organization Human Frontier Science Program. Uliana will work in the team of Juha Saarikangas who is an employer of this program.
Uliana shared some comments:
“Topic of my present work is «New role of aging: the origin of cell differentiation and evolution of multicellular life». The purpose of this work is to establish if cell aging is the base of cell differentiation». Yeasts are used as model organisms. This program will last until September 2023.”
We are sincerely happy and congratulate Uliana with this wonderful opportunity.
