Review article by our colleagues on the relationship between mitochondrial dysfunction and PTSD

The employees of the Department published a review article “Mitochondrial dysfunction as a possible trigger of neuroinflammation in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)” in the highly rated journal Frontiers in Physiology (IF = 4.755). The co-authors of the article were Prof. Volodymyr Lushchak and Halyna Semchyshyn, leading specialist Tetiana Dmytriv, MSc student Sviatoslav Tsiumpala and Canadian colleague Prof. Kenneth Storey.

This is the second review on the topic “The role of mitochondria in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)” in the journal Frontiers in Physiology, published by members of our laboratory. The previous article was published by Ph.D. Oleh Lushchak and Olha Strilbytska in January this year.
