On February 16, 2024, the Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology of PNU, Professor Maria Bayliak, served as an official opponent at the PhD thesis defence of Tetiana Matskiv at Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University.

The defense was successful.
